We'd like to thank Ben who did a great job with the sound, thanks to the DJ for the wonderful introductions etc,and thanks to Marcus, great show. Another FAB night!

The Cavern,Liverpool 18/12/2009
HO HO HO! Christmas time at the Cavern, and great to be back in this fantastic venue! After what was probably the worst journey ever up to Liverpool,we loaded in the equipment(which is not an easy task at this venue)and began setting up and sound checking. We were performing this night with John Lennon look/soundalike Marcus Cahill(would recommend this fella to everyone, great vocal, stunning looks)who was to warm the crowd up before we went on stage.
The plentiful audience were in good spirits as we entered onto stage to big cheers, with people dressed in all genres of Christmas costume. I dont think we could have put a foot wrong if we tried, these people were gonna have a good time no matter what.We mixed the set up with many a hit record, and threw in some die hard material,'Lucy in the sky' going down particularly well with the baying crowd. With applause and singing voices ringing out, dancing and swaying arms etc,we came to the end of our show,we could've played all night, even after three encores the crowd still wanted more but unfortunately all good things must come to an end. After meeting some wonderful people eager to give their compliments on our show,it was back to setting down, loading out and going home.
We'd like to thank Ben who did a great job with the sound, thanks to the DJ for the wonderful introductions etc,and thanks to Marcus, great show. Another FAB night!

Butlins,Skegness 13/12/2009
As we were the last act of the evening in centre stage at Butlins,we didn't have to arrive until around 8.30pm. Our on stage time was 11.45 for one short, sweet but hard hitting set. Butlins are set to do a production show in the new year based around The Beatles, and were looking for a suitable tribute band to feature,so to stand a chance of being in on the running we had to be good. We had doubts as to how many people would be left in the venue(a full house can dramatically enhance a performance)seeing as it was such a late time slot and the last day of a three day sixties festival,so armed with a full quota of our own backline(rather than 'in house' equipment)and crossed fingers that there was still an audience we got in position for showtime! "Ladies and Gentleman will you please welcome....The Beatles experience". We struck up full throttle, and as the curtains opened...wow...had to be a few thousand there it was jammed packed, this was a great sense of relief. We hit them with some good old rock n roll and they went wild, dancing and singing, pushing right up to the front of the stage to take photographs, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric, absolutely fantastic! All too soon it was over....had we done enough to secure a place in the forthcoming production? We got back to the dressing room and were immediately visited by management to say what a great show we'd done(ha! they'd seen us)we were in the running. We then got an email from our agent to say Butlins had been in touch that night to discuss possibilities,it's looking promising...... watch this space!!!!!!!
Aston Villa Football club 12/12/2009

We arrived at the ground to find we were to perform in the 'Holte suite'. First time here for us,and the venue was stunning! A very big room with tables to seat three to four hundred guests. After a speedy set up and sound check we made ourselves scarce to await the guests imminent arrival. Our 'green room' so to speak was a balcony area situated above the guests so it made for good fun watching everyone get seated and on their best behaviour. As the night wore on,the alcohol was flowing and soon everyone was in the Christmas spirit. It was quite daunting as we knew we had to be on fire to quench the audience need to dance and as the 'twelve days of Christmas' came to an end we hit the stage.'I saw her standing there' was the opener and from that point on we could do no wrong,we were like a human jukebox, one after another, hit after hit,we intended to keep the dance floor full and it was packed! We finished with 'Twist and shout ' ran off stage and collapsed,we were shattered! Very long tiring set but a great night for both us and them. A quick thank you to John the promoter for sorting out our needs, thanks John, all together now......."on the twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me....".
Bentley Golf club,Essex 11/12/2009

Arrived at Bentley golf club,Essex around 5pm. Found our way around the back to the load in point and began the task of taking in the equipment. We were in the company of a lovely D.J(who's name escapes me)so we had to set up in and around one another as the performance area was very...lets say cosy! After a swift set up we were ready to rock.At first this venue was quite a worry to us as there had been some kind of event on during the daytime and there was a lot of well oiled punters still milling around. A few times we had to clear them off our equipment(which by the way is rather expensive and in some cases irreplaceable)We wondered what the night had in store for us.We had no need to fret, after a short time the revellers were moved on to make way for the evenings guests, and a great bunch they were, they danced, sang and really enjoyed themselves,in turn giving us a most enjoyable time. All too soon our show was over and Mr.D.J took control finishing off the night to a more than satisfied bunch. We'd like to thank the fella on the wheels of steel, did a great job and a real nice guy to boot. Also we'd like to thank all the staff for looking after us,oh and by the way....great platter......Thanks!!!!

Farnborough F.C 28/11/2009
We arrived at Farnborough football club in good time! The weather was cold, yet bright and clear when we set off but by the time we arrived it was absolutely appauling, raining heavily and the load in point was full of enormous puddles(now where did i put my wellies?). We hurriedly rushed the equipment in so as not to get soaked, but the rain takes no prisoners, and soaked was how we were!
Set up was straight forward and in the sound check we had a chance to run through some of the new songs we've been learning. Soon it was showtime, two sets was the order of the evening, and stepping out brought it home to us just how few people had turned up(maybe 20 people in a room to hold roughly 100).The heavy down pour had really put the mockers on,but never the less a full on show was what we delivered to the people who were brave enough to face the weather.Everyone thoroughly enjoyed both sets, with requests coming thick and fast,we tried our best to play the songs they asked for.We finished up the night, packed down and drove home, thank God by the time we got back the rain had stopped! Very small, yet very intimate audience, very enjoyable evening!

The Raquet club,Liverpool 24/11/2009.

Great to be back in Liverpool again, first time at this venue and what a beautiful place it was. Situated in the financial part of town, this building is a lovely piece of architecture. The evening was a corporate event for 'British steel'( corus group). All the guests in the audience were of Russian origin, give or take the odd interpreter or two so the language barrier was quite apparent, although this didn't stop either us or themselves having a great time.We played mostly well known hits, and kept the song introductions very short and sweet. The vodka(and anything else alchoholic)was flowing, the guests were dancing and singing(well kind of Ha!)and the night ran smoothly finishing off with the proverbial 'Hey jude' to which everyone was joining in with hands aloft etc. Our performance soon came to an end and we were left to pack down, hearing that the party had now moved on into town, and were planning on a 3am finish!(some sore heads in the morning!)It was a pleasure to be part of the evening and helping our foreign visitors enjoy their stay in Liverpool. Great night!
P.s. Thanks Ben....you're a star!!!!

Swettenham Arms,Cheshire 14/11/2009

The beautiful surroundings, cosy atmosphere and two....yes two blazing real log fires!!! A lovely quaint little venue in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere. The concert room was quite small, although i do prefer this as you can be much more intimate with the audience, and the load in was easy! We set up with no probs and then ordered food and drinks and took a pew by the fire,oh yes! Finally we had to get ready and face our awaiting guests. It was the type of venue where the audience really sit and scrutinise what you do,they did and they loved it! Very warm crowd, singing and clapping along, and we recieved some great comments on the website from people who enjoyed the show.It had been a long day though and after the preceeding night we were all tired, but managed a rousing finale with twist and shout! Cheers, singing and a full dance floor, job done!!A great venue,a great crowd, and a great distance from anywhere ;)

Hard Days Night Hotel,Liverpool 13/11/2009

Here we were at the Hard days night hotel again, got to be probably our most favourite place to play ever,it's just so cool in there.Celebrating the release of the film 'Yellow Submarine ' (to which the film was played and watched by the guests earlier in the evening)we performed a unique set of 1966 songs(not something we do too often)followed then by a set of later material and songs which feature in the film's soundtrack. We thought that being this was the theme for the evening,we should dress accordingly,so we set about getting costumes to dress up as the actual cartoon characters of the film.I dont think this has ever been done before, the suits were cracking and we had some right laughs at each others expense,it was great. So dressed in strange garb as characters of the film for the second set we performed numbers such as "Lucy in the sky","I want to tell you" and"Hey bulldog" to name but a few,and they were very well received, that's one thing about playing in Liverpool, you can pretty much do any of the Beatles repertoire and they enjoy it! A great night as always and nice to meet up with Beatle fan Ben young lad and very keen to be a Beatle musician, keep up the drumming fella!
P.s Rachael we love you!!!!!!

The Globe,Cardiff 7/11/2009

With Cardiff losing to local rivals at football and Wales getting beaten at the rugby we thought we too would be in for a hiding to nothing! Not too many people were in attendance at this venue,it was a last minute booking due to a cancellation, and with the sporting defeats it was very thin on the ground so to speak. Those that did attend were a great bunch, we had them shouting requests and there was a lot of interaction between them and us.There were some real die hard fans of the Beatles in the crowd and good to see some old friends. We played a lot of the rock and roll songs but spiced it up with a few new later period numbers. It was very enjoyable for both parts, great little venue this and the sound engineer did a wonderful job, thanks mister! Hope to be back down there soon,Great night!

Sand Bay,Weston Super Mare 30/10/2009

Another show with the fabulous Edison Lighthouse only this time we were the first band on.I personnally love this venue it reminds me of the old 'dancehalls' that were, big hall, nice accoustics. The crowd were really up for a good time with some in 1960's fancy dress and quite a few wearing Beatle T-shirts(always a welcoming sight that). We performed as much of the dance material as possible keeping the dance floor busy right from the off,and then treated them to all the singalong classics.Lovely audience and a fab atmosphere! There was a quick stage turn around after we'd finished so as the other lads could get in place ready to rock! We left in a hurry as Lighthouse belted out their usual set of fantastic sixties hits,we had a great night, thanks to all,and to all a good night!

Bembridge Hotel,Isle of Wight 24/10/2009

Set off bright and early, got stuck in traffic and missed the ferry we were booked on(oops!) great start! Following an accident, our regular 'George' couldn't make the show so we had to get a stand in for the evening. John Brosnan,a well respected musician(and great George lookalike)within the Beatle tribute community stepped in at the last minute and did a great job.The two performances went really well, the audience were slightly more senior than normal,so some of the more gentler tracks were in order. We finished the evening to raptuous applause then had to pack down in record time to catch the 12.00am ferry! We made the ferry port with 10 mins to spare(oh happy days!)this meant that we would get home two hours earlier than if we missed it! We hit the mainland and set off top speed! we were making good time when....BANG! front tyre blowout. We were on the A34,a dual carriageway, pitch black and no hard shoulder, there was no way we could change the tyre as it meant sitting in the road to do so,we called the AA and waited...and waited...and waited. After an hour and half of boredom the very nice fellow arrived, worked his magic and soon we were on our way.So much for the speedy pack down,we got home at 7am! Nice! Anyway great gig,and thanks a million to John! Thanks mate!

Butlins,Skegness 22/10/2009

Butlins at skegness, the crazy horse to be precise, quite a local venue for us,not too far at all which makes a refreshing change.Got there nice and early and set up with the minimum of fuss.We were the second of two acts appearing this night during a 'sixties week' break for the guests on camp.Always a great atmosphere at these events, would recommend booking one of these short breaks to everyone, great value!Edison Lighthouse were the first band on,a well polished act, great bunch of lads, the small but very appreciative audience soon warmed up to some of the classic hits from the sixties, and of course the self penned hit 'love grows where my rosemary goes' great show!We hit the stage and fired off a few singles to which the crowd thoroughly enjoyed,we decided to mix up the show somewhat, adding a few self indulgent songs and they were really well recieved, sometimes doing the odd 'not so well known' track does work. The guests were fab, singing and dancing etc and we left them cheering for more.A really enjoyable evening,'oh we do like to be beside the seaside'!

Zeligs Restaurant, Liverpool 14/10/2009

A corporate gig for British-Hydro, the small but welcoming crowd were fantastic from start to finish.A warm aroma of garlic bread wafted past as we played a short spot of slower songs before meals were served (a banging steak each for the band!) and after the food we struggled out of our chairs to perform a spot of more up tempo numbers. Some of the more adventurous guests danced while some sat and watched appreciably.A good night and a great report back from Ellan Long the client.
Now where did we leave those rennies?????

A star studded cast at this event. We were last on the card and before us we were treated to an Errol Brown tribute and a Phil Collins tribute.A packed house of about 2,000 people cheered us on as we blasted out the hits.Big shout out to the Cufflinks who played the other venue,
always nice to catch up with them.

Bordeaux,France 10-13/09/2009
We flew from Manchester airport in the small hours of Thursday morning.A very brief flight, and then we were met by "Chris" our driver come tour guide come everything really. We weren't due to play until the following night so that gave us a day to settle in and have a rest ready for the two shows we had planned. After an early night and a good sleep we went to set up at the first venue, kind of like a small community centre in the middle of nowhere and the equipment was very limited, although we did manage to get a very good sound out of what we had.The first evening's show was geared at the local "english" people now living in France and we had a great time,a real mixed bag of young and old but they all received us very well and didnt want us to finish at the end of the night. The second night's show was a wedding at a local golf club,we didnt get on stage till around 11.15 as the wedding troupe were running late.As we started there were very few people in the venue(all at the bar across the courtyard no doubt! Ha!)but it slowly began to fill up and the atmosphere was building,as more and more people realised there was band playing the space on the big dance floor was becoming less and less! Soon enough it was really busy, everyone dancing and singing to their own favourite Beatle songs, they would have had us up all night if we had let them. After a quick hop over the water we were back in the U.K,great trip we thoroughly enjoyed it.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to Beth(the wedding planner)for inviting us out to France again,as this is our second visit the first some three years ago now,so nice to see her and catch up with goss! Thanks a million to Chris, who drove us to and from the venues, supermarkets and airports and not to mention loading of equipment and everything else. Thanks to Jean for the wonderful food "Lady that was a mean spag boll"! you could be my Mum any day! Thanks to you all we had a fab time, let's do it again........soon!.
The Cavern,Liverpool 08/09/2009 Official U.K launch of The Beatles Rockband game.
Back at the Cavern again, only this time we were chosen as the band to perform at the official launch of "The Beatles rockband" game. The night was a ticket held event only, full of Beatle fans and gamers alike. We played two sets, this time in the back room of the Cavern, much more room in there and a huge P.A system.Once again our favourite sound engineer "John"was on hand to cater to our needs, and as ever did a cracking job.The event was quite a big media spinner with varying kinds of paparazzi(so to speak)each taking photos and brief interviews about the Beatles, the game and peoples views on both.At one point we had "Richard Peppiatt" of the Daily Star on stage singing with us,we had a quick chat with him and he said it would be in the following Thursday edition of the paper,we didnt realise the picture would be so Big!(see top).Normally playing at the Cavern means a very late night, but with this being quite a different occasion, the night was over very quickly and we were soon on our way home.
We'd like to say thank you to the Cavern for giving us the opportunity to be involved in such a landmark event, thanks to "Steve" the lost gamer and a big thanks to Richard for the press coverage! Thanks to you all!.
The Beatles Story,Liverpool 07/09/2009
We arrived at the Albert dock early, set up our equipment and hung around inside the Beatles story, what an evening! We had to perform two sets to the corporate audience that awaited us in the mock up "cavern" section of the museum.I really couldn't have begun to realise how small this place was,it was tiny,we couldn't fit our backline on stage in a straight line, the bass cab had to be propped up on the steps to the side. Our start time came around and we kicked off with "some other guy".For the first few minutes we saw a slightly reserved bunch, and then they really warmed to us,it wasn't long before we had them singing along. As the set wore on,more and more of the crowd were edging closer and closer, tapping their feet and taking heaps of photos. The set ended and we hurried back to get changed, and straight on stage again for the second set to which people were up dancing, clapping and the lot, lovely crowd! We were then asked if one of the sponsors could come up on stage and have a blast so to speak,we obliged and the place went nuts, everyone's cameras were going into overdrive to catch this fun moment. The night ended on a definate high, for them and us,we had a fab time.
I'm not so good at remembering names, but i'd like to say thanks to the very patient fellow keeping a watchful eye on the place while we loaded out,Thanks, Great job!!!!

Sensatori Hotel,Crete 25/08/2009

We left home for the airport at 2am in the morning, the flight was from Gatwick! We got to the airport and checked in our stuff(had to take a full drumkit, what a pain!)We boarded the plane and had a pleasant flight, flight time was around 3 hours 30 mins.We kept ourselves occupied on the plane thanks to the touchscreen TV's in the headrests,i actually won a million on the "who wants to be a millionaire"quiz game(where do i collect my winnings?.......not!).We landed, picked up our luggage and made our way to the hotel. As soon as we got there we had to sound check as our performance was that night.Sound check over,we all went to bed to recharge our batteries.Considering we'd had very little sleep,we hit the stage with all the excitement of a normal show and played very well, the setting was great being outdoor in the hotel grounds. After the show we did a meet and greet, and photo sessions for the public, which lasted around half an hour.We went to bed,we were soooo tired! The next day we got chance to have a look around the resort,a few drinks around the pools, and relax in the sunshine.Next morning we were up early 7.30am,and back to the airport. Another pleasant flight, and then back in the UK. The M25 never fails to deliver,it was solid and we were stood for hours. We finally got home at 11.50pm.Very enjoyable, but very very tiring!
Saltney Social Club,Chester 22/08/2009
First time at this venue. When we arrived we had a pleasant shock, the concert room was massive, this came as a surprise because from the road side the place looked quite small. We were greeted well when we arrived and began the laborious job of setting up.We sound checked pretty much without a glitch then went backstage to prepare for the show. The first performance was quite an early one,and not all the paying customers had arrived,so our first set was toned down slightly to accomodate this.By the time we were back on stage for the second performance, the room was much more full, and the crowd were great. This time we played a blistering set of Beatles rock and roll, and we threw in a couple of new songs we'd been learning,(it's always nice to do a few new songs, keeps the interest there!)We finished off the night and handed over to the DJ to bring the night's entertainment to a close,we had a real job trying to get out of the place as everyone wanted to tell us how much they loved the show and thought we were great. It's always nice when you get some feed back, and quite a few people took the time to visit the website and send us some really nice comments, thank you to you all for that! All round great night, look forward to a return visit.

The Cavern,Liverpool 13/08/2009

Another packed Thursday night in Liverpool's No.1 venue!
Is it me or is the Cavern getting hotter?
A blistering gig which saw the Brazilian band "REVOLUTION" play a half hour set before us,a good band and really nice guys offstage. We were discussing how difficult it was for them to get hold of Beatle style instruments, indeed any quality instruments at all, although having said that, one of the guys had a lovely cavern bass! As usual Ronnie was excellent in getting the crowd warmed up,great singer with a truly fantastic guitar technique,a must see if you're up in Liverpool.By the time we went on it was no trouble to get the crowd singing and dancing. After a couple of warmer uppers so to speak,we really gathered momentum,so did the cavernites, making it a really fun night for both bands and crowd.

Alvaston Hall Hotel 08/08/2009

Great surroundings at this Warner hotel, very picturesque! This particular venue is in Nantwich which is not too far for us to get to and always a pleasure to play. The ents team who work down here really know their stuff and lots of people were in fancy dress and up for a good night!Warner hotels tend to cater for the slightly more mature age group, some of whom have seen the real Beatles live! It's always nice when these people come up to us and relive their own experiences of seeing them in concert, some lovely stories.
The audience were treated to a great night's entertainment, featuring the Alvaston in house band "The Blackjacks" got to be in my opinion the best in house band i've seen, truly professional, brilliant with a crowd! As soon as we took to the stage, the dancefloor was packed with jivers, boppers and just general shakers and movers, the response was fantastic!.As usual we did a few ballads for the more senior members, and rocked it up with the dance songs for the more adventurous! All round superb night and we've already been rebooked for next year! Thanks again to everyone!!! :)

Greenacres Holiday Park 01/08/2009

An afternoon show down in Essex,i don't know whether or not it was me,but the journey down seemed to take forever. The afternoon performance was planned to be outside but the weather decided otherwise, although that still didnt stop the younger ones getting absolutely soaked to the skin playing on the bouncy castle! With the outdoor plans in tatters we were forced to set up inside, which was a little tricky as the stage was probably only big enough(comfortably) for a duo/trio at most, but we managed to squeeze ourselves in.A compact and boisterous crowd greeted us and, they certainly weren't going to let the dismal day stop them having a good time, beer was flowing and everyone was in good spirits. They received us very well, and it wasnt long before they were all singing along to the Beatles classics.(they couldn't dance, there wasn't the room ha!)After several cries for encores etc,we left the stage to a more than happy crowd. It was really strange to pack down and set off home, when there was still daylight, and we actually made it home before midnight.(Nice!!!)Great gig!!!

Wallingford Sports Park 18/07/2009

A great show which included The Rapiers and Simon King with his tribute to Freddie Starr!
Simon started the show and was recieved with good humour (his show really is the business) followed by the excellent Rapiers who performed the hits of The Shadows plus other favourites. After what seemed like forever,it was finally our turn on stage! Wearing our new collarless suits,we opened up with 'Please please me' and the crowd went wild, they were really up for a good time, and as the night ebbed away we performed the most noteworthy songs to a packed dancefloor.Fantastic night all round, with a great blend of showmanship to please everyone,we had a fab time ourselves!
I can still here Brian (the DJ and organiser) singing Hey Jude!!!!!!
"Hey Brian,don't call us,we'll call you"(Ha Ha!).

The Cavern,Liverpool 16/07/2009
Another thursday night at the Cavern. Our George couldnt make it due to a cold and so at the last minute Rick(Cavern Beatles) stepped in to save the day, and what a day it turned out to be!The cellar was very humid even for the Cavern's standards and this only helped increase the atmosphere which was electric. As usual a great crowd was in, including a large contingent of Spanish students as we belted out hit after hit.
A BIG thank you to Rick for helping us out and making it a great night.
As one of the audience e-mailed us.
"I saw you in The Cavern last Thursday! It was awesome!”
Irene Amador Román, Spain
Well Irene,i couldnt agree more :)

Hard Days Night Hotel,Liverpool. 10/07/09

The suite that we played in was a great place in itself, everywhere you looked there was the Beatles watching over your every move(got to be good tonight boys!)
A great crowd and a really pensive atmosphere made this a cracking night. The dancefloor was packed from the word go with all age groups dancing to their favourites as we ripped out lots of the early rockers and then sank back into the later classics. After a few encores and audience sing alongs, our show was over.Fantastic night! It has to be for me one of the most exciting places i've played,as being a fan it's like Beatle heaven! We'd like to thank Geoff,Robbie and friends for coming, and a BIG shout out to Les,Marion and Susie for doing a sterling job organising it all,and making us feel very welcome.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The Ship Tavern,Plymouth 04/07/09

This particular trip was,it has to be said 'horrendous'! We set out for the venue in good time, until we ran into a road closure on the M5 following an accident. We were stood still and time was passing by.We notified the venue of our situation and said we`d do our best! After many a 'B' road was taken, several updates to the venue and some not too clean language within the van,we finally made it.The time was 9:40 pm!We were tired,we were thirsty,we were on stage thirty minutes later and belting out a rather long overdue set of hits to the expectant crowd. As a thank you to the audience, who had patiently waited for us to arrive,we played for twice as long as the scheduled slot, and we had a fantastic response, thank you!Excellent show, just a pity about the travel!
P.S. Received this comment about the gig
"....was a shinier, happier place after your gig last night! well worth the wait and definately the Best Beatles Tribute I've ever seen in my life.
Thank you!"

Bembridge Coast Hotel,Isle of Wight 23/05/09
Nice to be back on the Isle of Wight, beautifull weather for the
ferry crossing and a wonderfull venue.
We had a full audience who were really up for a sing song and eventually a dance!
Met some really nice people after the show and our drummer actually broke the bank at roullette. He immediatly booked himself a trip to Monaco,
we didnt have the heart to tell him it was only play money!
I think the management enjoyed the show as they asked us to do their Xmas party, unfortunatly we were already booked :(.
Great show,great people,great distance!

Floral Hall,Southport 24/04/09

Arriving early at this impressive venue we immediately took the chance to take some piccies.it was nice to see the old photos of the Beatles who appeared here in the sixties. The occasion was a Lions club charity ball and everyone got in the mood with fancy dress a la Beatles style. The one who cought our eye was the guy dressed as Beetlejuice! (nice work fella).
The gig was more somber than the cavern and we threw in a few of the softer ballads (till there was you, this boy) but built up the tempo to a rousing finale of twist and shout.Three encores later and we collapsed in the changing room.Job done.

The Cavern,Liverpool 23/04/09

Nice to be back at the Cavern again.A great crowd for St Georges night and we rocked until the early hours of the morning. We did some of the early cavern numbers which seemed to go down well with the crowd and it was nice to give the old songs an airing! We had a few gremlins with the guitar amp down there (must be the moisture!) but Ben did a great job on sound and got it right in the end.All in all, another great gig and we had some great comments sent to the website.

Butlins,Bognor Regis 29/03/09

A cracking atmosphere awaited us at Butlins, the crowd were warmed up by Love Affair then we stepped onto the stage to a huge cheer. We blasted out hit after hit, hardly stopping to catch our breath and before we knew it,it was time for the big finale, finishing the spot with "I saw her standing there" the cameras flashing as John and Paul shared the mic,George dancing out while his guitar pierced through the lead break and Ringo hammering the in-house drums!
We left the stage to a standing ovation and left Reg Presley and the Troggs to finish the night off.
A big thanks to the sound crew who were so helpfull and it was nice to catch up with Reg and the boys who had a stunning set.Nice work fella!
If anyone has any photos of the gig, please send 'em us!

Alvaston Hall 28/03/09
We were all looking forward to the gig at Alvaston, especially as they have one of the best carverys at Warners! A wedding meant we couldnt load in as early as would have liked but we still loaded in and soundchecked in time to enjoy the excellent meal!!!!
The crowd was a great mixture of different parties with most people getting in the mood with fancy dress and we treated them to 2 shows of the full Beatles reportoire.
It was hard work performing after having such a lovely meal, but we somehow managed.
A big thanks to the entertainments staff who were very helpfull and looked stunning in their sgt Peppers outfits.
A good night all round, except for our drummer Simon, who missed out on the gourmet feast ;) lol!

Golden Sands Holiday Park 21/3/09

This was the opening night for Golden Sands and the evening was started with a children's entertainer, followed by a comedy duo. These lads were great and by the time we got on the crowd were well up for it.We patched our equipment into the venue's brand new pa system,it was a great sound, and although it was a late performance 10:45pm , the crowd were dancing, singing and having a great time as we rocked the night away.Big thanks to Kev(who was great by the way!!!) and the staff who made us feel very welcome and made sure everything ran smoothly considering there were three acts on that stage!
ps. congrats to Simon(Ringo) and family on the birth of baby Nathan!!!!!

Sand Bay Holiday Village 15/3/09
After a short journey of only 6 hours!!!!!!! We finally arrived at Sand bay holiday village, there was not a soul around and we were all slightly worse for wear. The venue turned out to be like an old style ballroom, huge in fact, and indeed very retro! On the stroke of 6 oclock 300 people appeared from nowhere to take seat for their evening's entertainment!!
3 hours later,7 pints of cola and a packet of headache tablets each! the audience were treated to the Beatles Experience. The dance floor was a hive of activity with people who could remember The Beatles from the first time around.Scott Paige the manager said it was the best tribute he'd ever seen(we'd been buying his drinks all night!). After a standing ovation and 2 encores we finally collapsed into the changing room. A great gig,a great venue and a cracking audience....Encore!

Norton Grange isle of wight 21/2/09

After what felt like an eternal drive,we arrived at the ferry port.We boarded the ferry post haste and had a very smooth crossing. We arrived shortly after on the isle of wight, the venue was but a stones throw away from the ferry port.We loaded the gear in and set up quite quickly, therefore giving us a chance to rehearse some new songs for the show.We always get fed at this venue and we all ate a nice hearty salad! ha ha!(got to watch our figures!).We performed the first of two sets without a glitch and the crowd really enjoyed it! After a drink, short break and a costume change we were back on stage and finished the show to an elated audience. We hurriedly packed down, loaded up and set off madly for the ferry port! After another smooth crossing, and another endless drive,we arrived home in the early hours of the morning extremely tired and road weary! All in all,a very good gig, very enjoyable but a hell of a long way!!!!
